July 30, 2009

Up and out to the dog park by 8:30. Blitzen had to go to the bathroom. He was impressive. he got me up and out and waited to go until we got there.
It was almost chilly. I was almost cold. Temp was 70 degrees.
We were all alone. Lady Chica loves haveing the field to herself. She runs around the edge. She had plenty of cars to park this morning. Softball tournament still underway.

Lady Chica's Tale
I had plenty of work to do today. Plenty of cars to park. No other dogs around. Mom got us out of bed and off to the park.

Blitzen's Tale
Mom and I took a walk around the perimeter of the Big Dog Park, lake Woof. She kept me on a leash bc I can escape. They have put new pipes under the edge. I wonder if I can still get out.

Thank goodness it is too wet for the lawn mowers. 11 AM I may take a nap.

And so I did for more than three hours. 2:24 PM and we have been to the dog park. LC came home, ate her breakfast lying down and just went to sleep in her cage. I had a dream that was a perfect romance novel. When the hero and I had grown old, he was a general.

At three I went over to sit with Helen for a while. My neighbor. She has a hearing problem. She is a rabid Democrat. So that is OK. We watched CNN which she had on with ---

6:50 PM I have done quite a bit of sewing today. I feel satisfied.

MI5 tonight.

BOOK REVIEW
Beverly Connor, *Dressed to Die*
Lindsay Chamberlain, forensic anthropologist, archaeologist. ON the faculty of Univ. of Georgia. A fellow faculty member is dug up after four years and Linday gets in the middle of it. Also she finds boxes of artifacts in her grandfather's shed, having been there for forty years. I love this series. Beverly Connor is herself a specialist in bones.

Hugs, Dr. Liz
